WHAT: National Fishing Month
WHEN: 27th July to 1st September 2024
WHY: Get more people into, or back into, fishing
WHO: Anyone can go fishing, there are no limits
HOW: Find an event near you from our links list and get in touch with the Organiser for more details or just pop along. Many Clubs and Fisheries offer ‘Have a Go’ sessions for FREE and supply everything you would need. Or go with a friend or family member who is already a licenced angler via our www.takeafriendfishing.co.uk initiative

Host a National Fishing Month event
Are you, your club, fishery or local retailer organising or attending anything during NFM that could help us get more people enjoying the benefits of angling? If so, then we want to hear from you.
Host your own National Fishing Month event, simply fill in the register event form and send.
We’ll post it on nationalfishingmonth.com/events for everyone to join in!

Encourage your members, staff and visitors to get involved in NFM and spread the word!

Please let your bailiffs and other staff know about National Fishing Month so that they make Anglers and their Friends as welcome as possible.

National Fishing Month is an Angling Trades Association initiative to encourage engagement with angling. National Fishing Month presents a real time investment opportunity for all sectors of the angling trade and tackles recruitment at grass roots level. Whether you are self-employed or a multi-national involved in angling, you can support the NFM initiative and promote your business at the same time.
